Visitors and volunteers from the surrounding communities will experience an amazing display of patriotism.
Since the first Healing Field in 2006 during the rally, the Healing Field flag memorial display has become a legacy and tradition. Representatives at the Buffalo Chip want visitors to have an even more memorable experience.
The temporary flag display will consist of one thousand 3 ftx5 ft US flags atop 8ft poles displayed on the grassy field and accented with State and military flags on 20 ft poles at the entrance of Buffalo Chip Camp Ground
The Healing Field of Remembrance will be on display August 1 – 8 and is free to the public and an experience for families to take part in.
An additonal memorial representing each name of the fallen service men and womenn in the current conflict will also be on display at
the Healing Field.
This living display of heroism will fly as a temporary patriotic tribute to the strength and unity of Americans, and will honor all Veterans who served our nation to preserve our security and freedom.
Please join us and walk or drive through this Healing Field. This is the perfect opportunity for all of us to unite as a community and to remember and honor our nation's heroes.
Sponsor a flag, take it home and continue the tribute. Flags are available for $25 and will include a certificate and photo of the field
Proceeds will benefit the Gold Star Families and veterans needs in South Dakota and Utah.
Healing Field Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity and any
donation is tax deductable
